This procedure is known as cosmetic crown lengthening. Cosmetic crown lengthening can be done on one tooth, or many teeth, to help create a beautiful smile.

Another cosmetic procedure is tissue grafting. Grafts are used to cover unattractive roots, reduce recession, and prevent roots from decay and eventual loss.

Finally, tooth loss can cause an appearance of accelerated aging due to lack of support to cheeks and facial structure. Replacing single or multiple missing teeth with crowns, bridges, or dentures supported by dental implants can help restore a more youthful appearance or prevent the undesirable appearance of aging.
