Dr. Ryan J. Voelkert

Dr. Ryan Voelkert has a mission to provide compassionate care to his patients and deliver the best possible periodontal and implant therapy through his skill and many years of experience.

Dr. Voelkert has extensive training and experience in periodontal and regenerative therapy, cosmetic periodontal surgery, pre-prosthetic surgery and dental implant therapy. He is one of the few South Carolina dentists certified as a Wilckodontics provider, offering Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics. Dr. Voelkert is fully trained and licensed to perform Laser Periodontal Therapy™ using LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure) for treating periodontal disease.

Dr. Voelkert is committed to excellence through continuing education and co-hosts a local area study club for dentists as well as a dental hygiene study club which provides exceptional continuing education for himself and his colleagues. He has also presented lecture programs, speaking on subjects including: dental implant and reconstructive surgery, dental implant prosthetics, systemic factors affecting periodontal and dental implant therapy, bisphosphonate medications affecting dental treatment, implant-orthodontic-restorative relationships and periodontal maintenance techniques. Dr. Voelkert has also completed research and presented topics in the United States and Canada regarding alveolar ridge preservation and immunologic concepts.

In addition, Dr. Voelkert has served as an examiner for the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry for several years and currently sits on the Board of Directors.

Dr. Voelkert has enjoyed giving back to the local community and abroad through volunteering with the Greenville Free Medical Clinic, Give Kids a Smile, South Carolina Dental Access Day, and medical/dental clinics in Kenya and Venezuela.

Dr. Voelkert has maintained a private practice in Greenville, South Carolina since 2004, and enjoys spending time with his wife and family.
